Gan Rina loved painting their very own symmetrical butterfly wings
that they will soon test drive. We delved into the topic of symmetry

The Power of Friendship

In conjunction with our unit on Lag Ba 'Omer and the importance of friendship, Gan Rina heard the story of Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni.
We then discussed why it is important for primary colors to be friends
and mix together. Gan Rina was then amazed to conduct a science
experiment watching colors work together to form a different color
right before their eyes. The power of working together!

Yom Hazikaron

In honor of Yom Hazikaron, Gan Rina made thank you cards to Rav
Ronen's son Davidi who is currently serving in the Israeli army. The
children were so proud of themselves and were excited to hand deliver
the letters to Rav Ronen.

Sefirat Haomer

Do you know what day of sefirat it is? Gan Rina added sefirat haomer
to their tefillah. We are anxiously waiting to complete the 7 weeks
when we remember receiving the Torah and when we became a nation of hashem!

Pesach Cleaning

Believe it or not your children really enjoyed getting ready for
Pesach as they cleaned out their lockers. We hope they enjoy helping
you clean the house as much. Chag Samayach!

Venn Diagram

Gan Rina made a Venn Diagram today with Morah Sharon! They were so
surprised to see that there are many foods that they eat during the

Building Imagination and Critical Thinking

We researched that one brick was as heavy as one hippopotamus! Gan
Rina was then asked,"If you were a slave during the times of Pharoah,
what would be the most efficient way to carry a brick from one place
to another? They then tested out their ideas with simple machinery
that was provided for them.
